Hi there,

Im trying to get a manual built with the html help workshop, and for a long time I did not get any errors at all.

However lately it's been constantly crashing:

An unhandled win32 exception occured in hhc.exe [3864] (also [1660]). Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error... etc.

There is not a single source I could find that properly lists all error messages, nor their resolution.

What is going wrong and what do I do to resolve it?

Thanks!

machine: Win-Xp 64bit, plenty of ram/hd space free
and as said, has been running for over a year without problem.

Hello,

Verify if you have a backup of your project (and make a copy of it).
If necessary, reinstall Html Workshop.

And if the error arises again, let us investigate ...

Do you remember the last modifications you did ?

(Just to situate : I begun to work with Html Workshop 2 days ago ...
But such a crash is supposed to be occasioned by a not waited
situation, so I propose to prioritize something that could not be
planned by programmers ; disk error, electricity variation ...)

About the disk error, do you remember how to verify its integrity ?
