Are there any? I have a local help I use daily for reference information
which I have to launch from a shortcut on my desktop. When it opens, the
"search" window (contents/index/search/favorites) is not visible and I have
to clcik the show button to see it. Is there a switch I can add to my
shortcut so that it will open with that pane visible?

Thanks

Afraid not. You are really at the mercy of the author who made the CHM. The
author can set up the window anway way they want.

Of course if you are a programmer you could manipulate the window via the HH
API.

Unfortunately not. Thanks for the info though. I think I'll send a note to
the program author and see what happens. It won't hurt to ask.
